Triple J Saipan
 
Overview

The Triple J Saipan group of companies has been busy preparing for the reopening of the post-COVID pandemic tourism market in the Northern Marianas. Our teams have taken proactive steps to protect employees and customers and ensure safety within the workplace and that the Company is able to deliver essential services to the community. In addition to the key measures detailed below, Triple J Saipan has also implemented a strict company-wide Infectious Disease Policy outlining additional provisions taken to ensure customer and employee safety and comfort.

 
Triple J SaipanRestaurant Group

Triple J Saipan currently owns and operates the Surf Club Restaurant and maintains a franchise license for the operation of Great Harvest Bakery, both located in Chalan Kanoa, Saipan.
 

 

 

In both restaurants, Triple J has given particular attention to customer and employee safety during the COVID pandemic. Triple J will continue to enforce local infectious disease regulations and safety guidelines applicable to restaurant establishments.
 
  • Customer and employee masking requirements established by local regulations are strictly enforced.
  • Seating and lobby areas have been rearranged and occupancy has been limited according to local guidelines to provide for comfortable social distancing.
  • Customer temperature checks are performed,and hand sanitizer is provided for all customers before entering the establishments.
  • “No touch” food ordering has been implemented by providing disposable one-time use menus for customers at the Surf Club.
     

     

     

     
  • Surf Club regularly opens all the windows and doors to allow for an al fresco dining experience and for fresh air circulation to enhance the safe dining experience.
     

     

     
  • Excess napkins and hand sanitizer are provided on each table for customer use.
  • Stringent food safety protocols following important COVID-19 best practices have been implemented, including frequent sanitizing and disinfecting of all surfaces and other food handling best practices.
  • Employee health screening and temperature checks are conducted at the beginning of each shift and hand washing requirements are strictly enforced.


Saipan Surfrider Resort
 

 

 

 

Saipan Surfrider Resort, a boutique resort hotel, currently has 51 rooms open and operational. The Resort is currently in the process of construction a brand new spa facility on the property. The spa will offer a relaxing environment where guests can avail of pampering massages and deluxe nail treatments. The spa will be open in the Fall of 2021.
 
At our resort hotel, employee and customer safety and comfort are our highest priorities. Staff members must strictly comply with the basic protective measures against COVID-19 recommended by World Health Organization, including proper hygiene, respiratory etiquette, and physical distancing.Employee health screening and temperature checks are conducted at the beginning of each shift and hand washing requirements are strictly enforced.
 
Staff members are instructed on an action plan in the event that a guest develops signs and symptoms indicative ofCOVID-19.If a guest or staff develops symptoms of acute respiratory infection, staff are instructed to immediately implement efforts to minimize contact of the ill person with all guests and staff and to contact the appropriate local health authorities. Advanced planning and communication are critical to ensuring our guests’ safety and comfort during their stay. Additional details are outlined in the company’s Infectious Disease Policy.
 
Safety and sanitation measures have been enhanced at the property that include technical and maintenance measures designed to ensure the safety and hygiene of our property.
 
  • Frequent sanitization of guest rooms and all public areas indoor and outdoor
  • Regular maintenance and cleaning of air-conditioning equipment and ventilation systems
  • Regulation provision and sanitation of dispensers for soap and disinfectant solution, hand dryers, disposable tissue dispensers, and other similar devices.
  • Provision of property personal protective equipment (PPE)


Hertz Rent-a-Car
 
Triple J Rentals Micronesia operates Hertz Rent a Car and currently has outlets in the Saipan International Airport and Comete Plaza in Garapan. The Hertz franchise offers one of the largest fleets of rental cars on Saipan for short and long-term leasing.
 
  • Employee health screening and temperature checks are conducted at the beginning of each shift and hand washing requirements are strictly enforced.
  • Social distancing is encouraged between staff and customers during the check-in process
  • All touch points within the vehicle are disinfected before delivering the vehicle back to the customerand upon receiving it from the customer
  • Ensure that customer waiting areas allow patrons to maintain six feet social distancing guidelines
  • Complete payments electronically and before the customer picks up their vehicles whenever possible.
  • Sneeze guards have been implemented at all locations
  • Customer temperature scans (non-touch) are conducted, and customers are encouraged to avail of hand sanitizer before entry into establishment
