Going for the GOLD!
The Marketing Committee submitted an entry for the PATA Gold Awards this year. The Awards recognize the best in marketing, creativity and innovation tailored for the Asia Pacific region and beyond.
For our submission we highlighted the MicrONEsia Newsletter which was launched by PATA Micronesia shortly after the pandemic caused borders to shut down in the Western Pacific Ocean.
The objective of the newsletter is to keep our members informed and connected by providing the latest news and updates of each Island in our region. Spearheaded by its authors, PR Committee Chairman: Perdus Ehsa, Jr. and Vice Chair: Lou Aguon-Schulte, the newsletter has released A tri-annual collection of shared ideas for similar destinations to draw upon. This digital newsletter has enabled our Chapter to stay connected, engaged, and informed. It enabled our members to share how Covid impacted them and what they were doing to address it. The PATA Gold Awards will be announcing their winning submissions on Friday October 7 in the UAE in person and via the PATA YouTube channel.
