Lei-Side Group started with one convenience store in the early 1990s and has now grown to multiple outlets. These outlets include grocery stores Lei-Side 1 (across the airport) and Lei-Side 2 (in town) as well as a restaurant. Above the Lei-Side Restaurant is their Runway Inn, with two units of apartment-style suites. On the upper side of Weno Island is also the Lei-Side owned “Rachel’s Beach,” home to a resort and hotels in the making. While the opening of these hotel rooms have been stalled due to the pandemic, the reopening of the FSM borders this month has now enabled the group to resume work on their continued expansion.
